Music Guidelines

Private events may generally play music of their choosing. For commercially compliant playback through our venue sound system, we recommend use of our SoundMachine integration whenever possible.

Music Licensing & Playlist Policy

We maintain proper public performance licensing through ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) and BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.), and we allow covers of songs contained within their licensed catalogs.

At this time, we do not maintain licensing through SESAC or GMR.

Original music is always welcome.

Event Playlists & Speaker Music

Have a playlist you’d like played during your event? We use SoundMachine for commercially legal music playback, as personal streaming subscriptions are not licensed for public commercial use.

We’re happy to use your playlist, and here’s how the process works:

  1. Submit a playlist link or music file(s)

  2. We sync your music to our SoundMachine account via TuneMyMusic

  3. Your music is loaded and ready for your event

We recommend submitting as many songs as possible, as some tracks may be rejected due to licensing restrictions. SoundMachine recommends a minimum of 100 songs.

Early playlist submission is strongly encouraged so we can verify which songs are approved for legal commercial playback.

Live Music & Setlists

For live performances, we recommend submitting a setlist in advance. We are happy to check songs against performing rights organization (PRO) databases on your behalf.

Please note that we are not responsible for any fees or claims associated with licensing organizations for which we do not hold licensing rights.
